New Delhi: The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley during 89th general meeting of Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in Delhi, shared his view on demonetization. He supported PM Modi for his courageous step to seize corruption out of the country.

“Long term benefits of note ban will be clear even if we bear short term pain of some of this decision,” said Mr. Jaitley. Majority of the proportion of India is in support of demonetization, while on the other hand opposition parties are going on criticizing 'the step'.

Finance Minister added, “Notes ban marks an important beginning, with this move besides implications, once everything becomes normal it will mark creation of new Indian normal because the one which was for 70 years was unacceptable.”
