The Indian Army said that the rescue operation is going on to rescue the army patrol party which was hit by the avalanche. Special teams have been airlifted to assist in the rescue operations. The weather is very bad due to heavy snowfall in the area for the past few days.

Let us inform that due to heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the situation has become worse. According to the latest information, an avalanche has been reported on the Manali-Leh highway. After this, the tourists who went on holidays have been specially instructed to be cautious. According to reports, over 731 roads, including four national highways in the state, have been blocked. Vehicles are stranded everywhere due to the snow lying on the roads. In Himachal and Uttarakhand also information is being received about the closure of roads due to snowfall. Electricity and water supply has also stopped. This has had a great impact on the common man's life.

The State Disaster Management Authority has informed that 102 water supply schemes of the state have been disrupted, as well as 1365 electricity supply schemes have also been affected. From Himachal-Uttarakhand to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal are being hit by similar weather. The rain in the cold season has increased the cold further. At the same time, the Meteorological Department says that such a situation will remain for a day or two more.
