Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu Meets Governor KT Parnaik to Discuss Developmental Issues

Itanagar: On Tuesday, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with the state's Governor, Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar. The discussion focused on developmental issues and the Chief Minister's recent district tours.

During the meeting, the Governor emphasized the importance of automating records and district administrations to enhance outreach to the public. He stressed the need for regular inspections of ongoing projects to ensure effective implementation of various yojanas and initiatives.

Additionally, Governor Parnaik shared insights from his interaction with Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi on September 18, 2024. He noted that the Union Minister is highly supportive and has pledged financial assistance for developing sports infrastructure, including the provision of sports medicine doctors and coaches to support talent scouting and training for aspiring athletes in the state.

In turn, Chief Minister Khandu updated the Governor on his recent visit to Tawang and the inspections of various projects underway in the region.
