Itanagar: After four new cases of corona have been imposed in Arunachal Pradesh, the total infection cases have reached 16,882 in the state. Giving information on Monday, a senior official of the health department said that security personnel is also included in the infected. A total of 36 patients in the northeastern state are still infected, while 16,790 people have recovered from the disease. The official said that 56 people have died due to this disease so far.
State Monitoring Officer Lobsang Jampa said that a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawan returned from UP is also among the new patients. He said that a total of 4,17,041 samples have been tested in the state, including the testing of 144 samples on Sunday. Meanwhile, State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dimong Padung said that more than one lakh people have been vaccinated since the vaccination campaign started in January.
On the other hand, there is a steady increase in the cases of coronavirus infection in the country. According to the new data on Monday, 1,68,912 new cases were registered in one day. According to the Union Health Ministry, the highest number of new cases of corona are coming out in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. 80.92 percent of new cases have been registered from these 10 states.
