Itanagar: The number of infected people in arunachal pradesh has increased to 28,382 after 364 new cases of corona virus were reported. The death toll has risen to 119 after another patient died of infection. State Monitoring Officer (SSO) Dr L Zampa informed that a 41-year-old man from Changlang district died on Thursday at Kovid Dedicated Hospital (DCH) at Pasighat in East Siang district.

Zampa informed that capital complex area has the highest number of 58, Tawang 50, Lohit 44, Lower Subansiri 32, West Kameng 30, Namsai 24, East Kameng 21, Changlang 17, Upper Subansiri 15, Lower Dibang Valley 14, Anjo and Leparada 10-10, East Siang 7, Papumpere 2 Four new cases each have been registered in Kamle and Upper Siang, three each in Tirup, Lower Sinyag and Kra Dadi, two each in Kurung Kume, Pakke-Kesang, Shi-Yomi and West Siang and one each in Siang and Longding districts.

The official said that out of the new cases, 356 cases were registered through 'Rapid Antigen' investigation, 7 RT-PCR and one 'Truenate' investigation. Zampa said 3,843 people are currently undergoing treatment for corona virus in Arunachal Pradesh. On the other hand, after recovery of 337 more people, the number of people who were free from infection in the state increased to 24,420.
