In Arunachal Pradesh, single-day recovery cases of new COVID-19 cases in in good state, with 407 more persons healing from the disease in the recent 24 hours compared to 196 new infections, according to a Health Department official. The new instances brought the total number of cases in the state to 63,315, he added.

According to State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa, the death toll in the state has remained at 291, with no new fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. So far, 61,039 persons in the state have been cured of the virus. According to the SSO, the recovery rate among patients improved slightly to 96.40 percent from 96.06 percent the day before.

There were 54 new cases in the Capital Complex Region, 26 in East Siang, 19 in Lower Subansiri, 15 in West Kameng, and 11 in Lohit district among the 196 new cases. According to Jampa, 153 new cases were found using quick antigen testing, 21 through RT-PCR, and 22 through TrueNAT techniques, with 102 of them developing COVID-19 symptoms.

There are presently 1,985 active cases in Arunachal Pradesh. The Capital Complex Region, which includes the cities of Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli, and Banderdewa, has the most active cases (669), followed by Lower Subansiri (246) West Kameng (127), East Siang (117), and Papumpare (109).
