Itanagar: Many parts of the country are currently in a lockdown due to the havoc caused by the corona epidemic. Lockdowns were also imposed across the country. During this time, many people were short of food and drink. The same thing happened in Arunachal Pradesh last year. In the meantime, due to hunger, people caught a 12-foot-long cobra snake and ate it. The video is in the news after it was lockdowned back this year.

A video of the incident in Arunachal Pradesh went viral on social media. In the video, three men were seen hitting the 12-foot-long King Cobra and hanging on their shoulders. The video was reported from the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. In the video people can be heard saying that they killed this poisonous snake in the forest to eat. They said they had killed cobras to satisfy their hunger. He then made all arrangements for the feast. They had made arrangements for banana leaves to clean and cut cobra meat into pieces. In the video, a young man was heard saying that he had nothing left in the house to eat during the lockdown.

The young man had said that he had gone to the forest, and was looking for something when the cobra appeared. However, doing so had proved harmful to them. A case was registered under the Wildlife Protection Act against those who hunted cobras.
