Director Arun Prabhu of 'Aruvi fame had wrapped up the shooting of his second directorial titled 'Vaazhl' earlier in July of 2019 itself. The film is said to be a travelogue musical drama for which Pradeep Kumar is composing the music. While we has earlier reported that the makers are planning for an OTT release and are currently in talks with a popular OTT platform, the latest buzz is that the film release on OTT on July 16.
The film is produced by Sivakarthikeyan and co-produced by Kalai Arasu with Shelly Calist and Raymond Derrick Crasta taking care of visuals and editing respectively. The entire shooting of 'Vaazh' was completed in record time in 75 days on 100 locations beginning in January 2019 and completed on July 15th. The film has been censored with an U/A certificate and has a run-time of 1 hours and 54 minutes.
The film has Pradeep, Bhanu, Diva and Yathra in important roles. Arun made his directorial debut with 2017 hit Aruvi, which had received critical and commercial success.
