NEW DELHI: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal continued his apology binge, now he is saying "sorry" to Union finance minister and Snior BJP leader Arun Jaitley in a defamation case which he has filed in opposition to Delhi CM, as reported ANI quoting sources.

“Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leaders Sanjay Singh,Ashutosh and Raghav Chadha apologize to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the defamation case he had filed against them,” ANI tweeted.

Joining Delhi CM Kejriwal in the apology, there were three of his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) colleagues Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha and Ashutosh. All four, in a joint letter, has apologized to the BJP leader Arun Jaitley.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has accepted an apology from Arvind Kejriwal as One India reported.

The defamation lawsuit by union minister Jaitley has not being withdrawn, but a joint application is being filed for an announcement based on the apology by Kejriwal and the 3 other AAP leaders.

Jaitley had filed an Rs 10-crore defamation lawsuit, not in favor of Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders -- Raghav Chadha, Kumar Vishwas, Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh and Deepak Bajpai.

All six were alleged financial irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association when Jaitley was its president.
