New Delhi: On Saturday, days after stocking a controversy over his tweet depicting a broom (AAP's party symbol) chasing a Nazi symbol or Hindu 'Swastik', Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to German dictator Adolf Hitler. Accusing PM Modi of using force to curb dissenting voices, Kejriwal said that Modi supporters are not able to see in which direction India is going. According to reports, the incident is from Bhondsi area of Gurgaon in Haryana where members of a family belonging to a minority community were beaten black and blue on March 21, that is on Holi.

Kejriwal tweeted "Goons of Hitler use to beat and kill innocent people. Later, police use to file cases against the victims. Modiji is also doing the same. He is following Hitler's tactics to grab the power, but his supporters are not able to see in which direction India is going,". Kejriwal's tweet came along a video which has gone viral on the social media platforms. In the video, a group of men can be seen attacking male members of a family while the women can be heard pleading to stop.

Here it is to be noted that the men attacked the family following an argument between two groups while playing cricket. As per the latest input in the incident, the police have registered a case under sections 148, 149 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against unidentified men. Tweeting the video, Kejriwal trained his guns over PM Modi and suggested that they are BJP supporters. So far, there's no confirmation whether the accused belonged to any party. Asking "which holy book allows to attack Muslims", Delhi CM said that the accused are not Hindus but suggested that they are BJP goons.

To be noted that earlier on March 20, Kejriwal had targeted BJP with his tweet of a broom chasing a "Swastik" but it caused an uproar on social media forcing the party to issue a clarification that it was a  Nazi symbol. Over the tweet, Delhi BJP leader Vijendra Gupta had lashed out at Kejriwal saying it was a violation of the code of conduct. "The Aam Aadmi Party should be invalidated and strict action should be taken against it for attempts to incite communal tension."
