New Delhi: The third wave of corona infection in the country's capital, Delhi, could be more deadly. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced that more than 37,000 cases are likely to be reported every day in the peak in the third wave of corona in a meeting with experts. And the Delhi government is already gearing up for it.
CM Kejriwal informed that the highest number of cases recorded during peak in the month of April were recorded at 28,000. But now, after experts' opinion, the number could be 37,000 during peak. For this we are working to empower Delhi hospitals and our health system. The entire strategy has been worked out for this. Kejriwal said that 'It's not that if more than 37,000 cases come up, we are not ready for that. For that too, the government is working for.the upcoming further'.
He said that a task force has been set up, especially for children, to determine how many beds, oxygen beds, ICU and medicines will be required for children in these health resources. All these will be worked out. And the task force will soon have to send its report on it to the government as well. All these preparations have been decided after discussions in two separate meetings that lasted for 6 hours yesterday. Further preparations will be made only on the basis of expert opinion.
