New Delhi: Today at early morning, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged Delhi’s people to vote against elements that spread hatred and poison. Saying that voting is important and that it can change the country, Kejriwal further urged people to vote for leaders who do their job. In an interview to PTI, the Delhi CM said that the main aim of the AAP is to ensure that Modi-Shah remains out of power.

In the meantime, Delhi CM came under scanner after AAP’s West Delhi candidate Balbir Singh Jakhar’s son made a sensational claim saying that his father paid Rs 6 crore to the AAP supremo for getting the party ticket.

After the allegations surfaced, the Bhartiya Janta Party slammed Kejriwal saying he cannot remain silent. "Kejriwal has to answer. He has been slapped many times and each time he blames the BJP, but the man who hits him turns out to be from his own party," said Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.

AAP has fielded Balbir Singh Jakhar from West Delhi, Atishi from East Delhi, Guggan Singh from North-West Delhi, Raghav Chadha from South Delhi, Dilip Pandey from North-East Delhi, Pankaj Gupta from Chandni Chowk and Brijesh Goyal from New Delhi.

Voting is being held on 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, seven in Delhi, four in Jharkhand and eight each in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar. In 2014 Lok Sabha Polls the Saffron Party had won all the seven seats in the national capital.
