The news of the death of actor Arvind Trivedi who played Ravana in TV' serial Ramayana is wrong. Rumours of his death continued to circulate on social media on Sunday. After that in the evening, his nephew Kaustubh Trivedi informed of his well being and appealed not to spread false news. Kaustubh wrote in his tweet, "My uncle Arvind Trivedi Lankesh is completely fine and safe. Stop spreading fake news". Earlier on Sunday afternoon, Arvind Trivedi made a tweet while welcoming Sarvadaman Banerjee, who played Krishna in the serial' Sri Krishna ', on social media.

Doordarshan wrote in a tweet, 'World record, the re-broadcast of Ramayana on Doordarshan has broken the viewership records worldwide.
