Drugs Case: Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan will remain in jail, bail plea rejected

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who is involved in a cruise drugs case, his troubles are not taking the name of diminishing. The sessions court will hear his bail plea on October 13. Now Aryan will have to be jailed for at least three days more. NCB will file its reply in the matter by 11 am on Wednesday. Aryan is currently lodged in Arthur Road jail. His lawyers Satish Mansinde and Amit Desai, who were looking into Aryan's case, had approached the court. Apart from him, Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani had also reached the court.

Earlier on October 8, the Magistrate Court of Mumbai had rejected Aryan Khan's bail application. Magistrate RM Nerlikar gave this decision after a lengthy debate between Aryan's lawyer and NCB. The magistrate, while dismissing the petition of the other two including Aryan, said that this case is not maintainable. Before the hearing on October 8, the Additional Advocate General of India Anil Singh had said that the court should first decide whether the bail application is maintainable or not. Anil Singh had said that 'I am raising the issue of maintainability and want it to be decided first and then go to the merits of the matter.'

Aryan Khan is in custody for 14 days. In this case of drugs, the NCB has arrested 20 more people, including two foreign citizens. Shah Rukh Khan's driver was also questioned by the NCB on October 9. The driver had reportedly admitted that he had left Aryan and Arbaaz Merchant on the cruise terminal. NCB questioned the driver about the activities of Aryan and his friends for 12 hours.
