NEW DELHI: As its system is still down, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences released new manual admission criteria on Thursday.
New Standard operating procedures (SOP) state that patient admission, discharge, and transfer will all be handled manually until the server comes back online.

According to a statement from AIIMS, New Delhi, "Today the server for National Informatics Centre's eHospital was down as a result of which outpatient and inpatient digital hospital services including, smart lab, billing, report generation, appointment system, etc., have been affected."

The hospital had stated, "Measures are being taken to restore the digital services and support is being sought from Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and National Informatics Centre (NIC)," adding that the AIIMS and NIC will take the necessary precaution to stop similar attacks in the future.
