Hyderabad: Speaking on the Citizens Amendment Bill (CAB) at the Lokmat Parliamentary Awards-2019, AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that I am not at all sad that you are not bringing any Muslim from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Do not bring me, I am saddened by the fact that Maulana Abul Kalam Azad said that I am an Indian Muslim and my religion has a relationship with this country for a thousand years and Hinduism has a relationship of more than four thousand years.

When I have a relationship with this country for a thousand years, then where did that relationship go? You are promising by sitting in the Parliament that we are Muslims, so you will not bring them in CAB. After all, what are you trying to convey from the biggest panchayat of India? Asaduddin Owaisi attacked the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal and said that they should tell what they have done for the Muslim community in West Bengal.

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that it suits all parties in the country to keep them as villains. According to Owaisi, the BJP, according to him, works to paint him in a particular color while other secular parties project him as a villain in another way.
