New Delhi: AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi has accused Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh that he has not given full details of the developments on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He said that earlier the Indian Army used to patrol Finger 8, but why the Defense Minister is saying that the army will now patrol Finger 4.

Owaisi, while speaking to the media outside Parliament, reacted to Rajnath Singh's statement in the House, stating, "The Defense Minister is not disclosing whether the LAC position has been restored before April 2020". He questioned, "What is the meaning of disagreement? The Indian Army used to patrol on Finger 8 (on Pangong Tso) and now it is saying that the Army will be patrolling on Finger 4. What does that mean?" Owaisi said, "He (Rajnath Singh) is not saying anything in relation to Depsang, Demchok and Galwan. The government always said that talks will be for the whole of Ladakh and now talks are going on for Pangong Lake in the south and north."

Owaisi responded to Rajnath Singh's statement in the Lok Sabha on the 'present situation in Ladakh', saying, "The government used to say that our soldiers are at a strategic point in the Kailash range. Why are you evacuating now? Is China anywhere Wasn't it? He hasn't been able to answer it."
