Hyderabad: Police action in the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) violence case in Delhi, capital of the country, has been criticized by AIMIM chief and MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi. Owaisi has said, 'No person attacked at JNU but Aliens did. They came from Mars and Venus and landed at the police headquarters, attacked and returned.' Along with this, Owaisi has called the Hindu Raksha Dal, the organization responsible for the attack.

Asaduddin Owaisi further said, 'If the JNU Vice Chancellor is ashamed, he should resign from his post. He is the Guardian of the students and his job is to keep the students safe. Delhi Police was absent for one and a half hours. This police was crying when they were beaten by lawyers. Then they attacked the students in Jamia University. A case was filed against the student injured in the attack. This is completely unfair.'

Earlier on Monday, Owaisi accused the Delhi Police of allowing the masked goons to brutally attack students and professors in the JNU for not only half an hour but also gave them a way to escape safely after the uproar. Owaisi strongly condemned the attack and described the perpetrators as 'anti-country' elements.
