NEW DELHI: In the case of the mysterious death of the children of Dipas and Abhishek, who died on July 3, 2008t has been revealed that the Ashram administration is responsible for the deaths of both the children. This has been revealed in the report of the Commission of Inquiry by retired Judge DK Trivedi. The report was submitted to the Assembly on Friday stating that Asaram's Ashram administration is responsible for the deaths of children.

The report said it was the negligence of the administration that the children went missing from the premises and later the bodies of the two were recovered from the back of the ashram. The report said that in order to prevent any such incident in future, it is necessary not to let children below 10 years of age go near the river. The Commission of Inquiry has also suggested keeping the Ashram in order. It also suggests the installation of CCTV cameras, primary treatment, non-passage of children around the river and security arrangements around the ashram.

The case was first handed over to the CID Crime, but in view of the seriousness of the case, it was re-examined and the retired Judge DK Trivedi Commission was set up for judicial inquiry.
