NEW DELHI: Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Lok Sabha over mob lynching incidents across the country. He said, "I want to ask the Home Minister to make a law on mob lynching by the Supreme Court last year. Why don't you make laws? Today, there is mob lynching in Bihar. Tabrez Ansari was killed.

Owaisi further said how much hatred is there against Muslims in the country today. Let the law be made against mob lynching, sir, the people who have stood up. You have to ban one or the other organization. Raghunandan's refusal to accept the Academy of Music Drama Award has been endorsed by many eminent writers in India. Following the award announcement on Tuesday, the Bengaluru artist issued a statement citing mob lynching and violence in the name of God and religion, directly or indirectly attributed to the existing forces.

This series of protests continues."
