Bhopal: Asha Usha worker had declared a strike after judas and nurses in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, they had declared a strike from June 20 over seven-point demands. After meeting CM on June 22, CM assured help to Asha Usha workers. However, even after the assurance, Asha Usha workers staged a protest in Bhopal on June 24 on the call of Laxmi Kaurava, former president of Sahyogini Sangathan in Bhind district. Laxmi Kaurava was removed from the organization in 2019 due to anti-organization activities.

Later, state president Vibha Srivastava asked all Asha sisters to return to work and suspend the strike. But Kavita Saini, district president of Asha Usha Sahyogini Sangathan, said, "The demonstration in Bhopal on June 24 has nothing to do with the organization.'' In fact, state president Vibha Srivastava says, "After discussions with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Asha Usha workers from all the 52 districts of the state asked to return to work and call off the strike.''

Moreover, Kavita Saini, district president of Asha Usha Sahyogini Sangathan, said, "After talking to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, all Asha Usha workers of the organization have returned to their work and are cooperating vigorously in vaccination.'' She further said, "His organization has nothing to do with the strike demonstration held in Bhopal on June 24.''
