Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni's son Lakhimpur Kheri violence case main accused Ashish Mishra has reportedly contracted dengue and has been admitted to a hospital. According to sources close to him, Ashish's health has deteriorated and he has to be admitted to a jail hospital. Ashish, who was remanded in police custody last Friday, had complained of fever and then received his blood report on Saturday confirming his suffering from dengue. He was admitted to the jail hospital at 10 pm last Saturday after his condition deteriorated.

You must be aware that Ashish Mishra was arrested in connection with the violence that erupted after he allegedly drove his car at Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri for protesting against farmers. In fact, four farmers were run over by an SUV in Lakhimpur Kheri. He was agitating against three new agricultural laws of all the Centre and the group had staged a protest on October 3 against the visit of UP deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. Meanwhile, three persons were arrested last Saturday in connection with the case, taking the total number of arrested to 13.

Let me also tell you that earlier, four accused including Ashish Mishra, the main accused in the case of crushing and violence of farmers in Lakhimpur, were remanded to two days police custody remand by the court on Friday. The officials investigating the case had sought police custody remand of the four accused including Ashish Mishra, the accused son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, which was granted by the court.
