Pakistan put all their emphasis on equalizing the match. In the fourth quarter of the match, Harmanpreet Singh scored the third goal for India to take the lead to 3-1. After that, both the teams struggled for goals till the end of the match but no one succeeded.

Pakistani goalkeeper Ali Amjad's performance in the same match was very strong. It was his excellent defense that prevented the Indian team from taking a big lead in the match. If Amjad had fallen lightly, the Indian team could have scored three goals in the first quarter, but they had to settle for a goal. It was because of Amjad that the Pak team managed to keep their position strong for a long time in the match. On the one hand, Amjad saved the goal but the Pak players could not score, which caused a loss to Pak.
