The Indian hockey team defeated Pakistan Hockey 3-1 in the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament on Friday. The Indian team played aggressively from the start of the match. The Indian team took a 1-0 lead in the first quarter. Harmanpreet Singh's goal for India in the first quarter gave the team the lead. Harmanpreet scored from a penalty corner, hitting the Pakistani players. India continued their aggressive performance in the second quarter but the Pakistan team's defense looked very strong. India tried to score 3 goals in the second quarter but failed all Pakistan's attempts. In the third quarter of the match, Akashdeep Singh scored in the 42nd minute to double India's lead by 2-0.

Junaid Manzoor scored in the 44th minute of the match to open the team's account. After a lot of hard work, the Pakistani players cheered as they scored the first goal in the third quarter. Pakistan put all their emphasis on equalizing the match. In the fourth quarter of the match, Harmanpreet Singh scored the third goal for India to take the lead to 3-1. After that, both the teams struggled for goals till the end of the match but no one succeeded.

Pakistani goalkeeper Ali Amjad's performance in the same match was very strong. It was his excellent defense that prevented the Indian team from taking a big lead in the match. If Amjad had fallen lightly, the Indian team could have scored three goals in the first quarter, but they had to settle for a goal. It was because of Amjad that the Pak team managed to keep their position strong for a long time in the match. On the one hand, Amjad saved the goal but the Pak players could not score, which caused a loss to Pak.
