New Delhi: Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Das won bronze in Lightweight Double Sculls Rowing while Indian rower Dushyant Chauhan came third in Men's Lightweight Single Sculls winning bronze medal on the sixth day of the ongoing Asian Games 2018 which are organizing the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.

Dushyant gave a tough fight to Korean Park Hyunsu and Hong Kong's rower Chiu Hin Chun and ended his time at 07:18.76.

India is now at no.10 spot at medal tally with a total of 19 medals. So far India has won four Gold, four Silver and 11 Bronze medals.

After a devastating start to India's campaign at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta where the country missed out on four medals which included the hopeful events of men’s single sculls and double sculls, Dushyant Chauhan won country's first medal in the sport as he fought hard for a bronze in Men's lightweight single sculls.

On day six of the quadrennial event another tennis medal was assured when Prajnesh Gunneswaran outlasted Kwon Soonwoo in a marathon quarterfinal.

On the other hand Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan entered the men's tennis doubles final.

With some disappointment our men's Kabaddi team secured a Bronze medal as two-time runners-up Iran

finally got the better of India with a gladiatorial performance.
