Asian games 2018 : Veteran shooter Rahi Sarnobat makes a resounding comeback with gold medal in the 25m Pistol event

Indian shooter Rahi Sarnobat clinched GOLD in Women’s 25m Air Pistol event on the fourth day of ongoing 18th edition of Asian games. After this golden win, she has become the first Indian woman to bag an individual gold in shooting in the games.

It has been a bright start to day 4 as Manu Bhaker and Rahi Sarnobat both entered in finals in the 25m air pistol event following the High drama with full intensity.

Rajyavardhan Rathore Minister of State (I/C) Youth Affairs & Sports, MoS (I/C) Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India, and Olympic medalist, Military Man  taking to twitter congratulated Rahi Sarnobat and said, "

"After battling a major elbow injury in 2016, veteran shooter @SarnobatRahi makes a resounding comeback with her gold medal-winning performance in the 25m Pistol event at the #ASIANGAMES2018 ⁠. Kudos to her for taking forward Indian shooting's successful run in Jakarta."

India has so far won 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Worth mention here India has bagged two gold medals in shooting and two wrestling. India is currently running 7th in the medal table.
