In Bridge, India's Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar won GOLD MEDAL in Men's Pair.

The 18th edition of Asian Games 2018 almost coming to a close and Indian contingent  putting its huge efforts clintched two historic gold on day 14 . India added 2 gold medals to their tally on the second last day of the tournament where Boxer Amit Panghal had a gold win - India’s only gold medal in Boxing in the tournament so far and in Bridge India's Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar won GOLD MEDAL in Men's Pair.

Taking a micro blogging website Twitter Rajyavardhan Rathore Minister of State (I/C) Youth Affairs & Sports, MoS (I/C) Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India, expressed his joy as congratulating both players -

“INDIA HITS A GOLD AGAIN! India goes for GOLD again! Kudos to our Bridge Men's pair of Pranab Bardhan & Shibnath Dey Sarkar for bagging India's 15th GOLD at the #AsianGames2018. Good Job Guys! The country salutes your achievement.”

Amit completed his gold fight in Men’s 49kg boxing final. India Women’s Squash team defeated the World No. 1 Malaysia 2-0 and entered the final. They will be in fight for gold when they face off against Hong Kong in the final.

Meanwhile, after the distress of losing out on chance to win gold, India men’s Hockey team will fight for Bronze medal with arch rival Pakistan.
