The Indian badminton team suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Indonesia in the semi-finals of the Asia Team Championship. Despite the defeat of Asian champion Jonathan Christie at the hands of young Lakshya Sen, the Indian team lost 2-3. Team India had to be content with the bronze medal after the two-time defending champions.
