Model and Actress Pearl Punjabi has committed suicide in a bid to become a popular actress. According to reports, Pearl committed suicide by jumping from the roof of her home in Mumbai and the incident was reported to happen on Friday night. Pearl's home was located in Oshiwara and the 20-year-old Wanted to pursue a career in Bollywood for which she had been strangling films for a long time but was disappointed because of her lack of success and that is why Pearl took the path of suicide.

"The incident took place between 12.15 and 12.30 at night," said Bipin Kumar Thakur, guard of the building where the model Pearl Punjabi was staying. "Earlier there was someone shouting. I thought someone was screaming on the road. When I got there I found out that the shouting sound was coming from the third floor. Pearl Punjabi lived on the same floor." In this case, Pearl Punjabi often had a quarrel with her mother and, at the same time, according to a TV 9 report, "she had attempted suicide twice before."

In this case, the police said, Pearl Punjabi was mentally disturbed and that last night there was an altercation with the family and Pearl Punjabi jumped from the roof. Pearl was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in critical condition but died. Police have taken the body of the model and sent it for post mortem and investigation is on.
