Guwahati: A 10-year-old child was kidnapped at a school in Assam's Bajli district. According to the information, the kidnapping took place on Wednesday in ward number 3 of the school. Two kidnappers entered the child's house located in ward number 3 of the school. Taking advantage of the absence of people in the house, they took away the 10-year-old child.

Giving details of the whole incident in front of journalists, the child said that the kidnappers first took him on a motorcycle to the school railway station and then wrapped his eyes with a black cloth, the kidnappers gave him Rs 50 and asked him to board the train when it arrived. . The kidnappers also displayed a pistol in front of them. The child further said that the kidnappers were watching him from afar in the station.

Meanwhile, the family members of the child started looking for him and when they reached the police station, they found him there. The family of the child's father who is a businessman demanded a proper inquiry into the incident. The incident has raised questions on the safety and security of the children in the school.
