Guwahati: There are many incidents of disputes and fights during football matches, but the shocking incident that has come out of Assam is very scary. A fight between two friends during a football match here escalated to such an extent that one beheaded the other. Not only this but the accused also reached the local police station with the severed head.

Actually, this case is from the Sonitpur district of Assam. All this has happened in the Rangpada police station area. According to media reports, the incident took place after the football match organized on the occasion of Independence Day in the Doyalur area on Monday. In fact, in this match, two friends had put a bet of five hundred rupees. The condition was that whoever loses will have to pay money. A police officer informed that Tuniram was supporting one team, while Hemram was a supporter of another team. Hemram won the bet and asked for money, but Tuniram did not give money.

The matter escalated to such an extent that Tuniram, in a fit of rage, took out a sharp weapon from his bag and cut off his head. After this, everyone present there was stunned. Then late on Monday night, the accused went to the Rangpada police station with a severed head. The policemen present there were also stunned. However, the accused was immediately taken into custody. At present, the investigation of this case has started.
