Guwahati: CM of Sarbananda Sonowal told the people during the lockdown that the government of Assam will give Rs 25,000 to the patients of Assam who are stranded in other states to ensure a safe environment in their bank account. Along with this, CM Sonowal chaired the all-party meeting, has also taken suggestions from the leaders of various political parties to control the coronavirus in the state.

Leaders of Congress, AGP, AIUDF, BPF, CPI, CPI (M) and other parties also attended this meeting. Sonowal told the leaders to be vigilant in every area to maintain constant vigilance and to convey the information of the government to anyone. Simultaneously, the district administration has been instructed to serve the unregistered, especially during the lockdown period. Sonwal said that the government is implementing its schemes in every way, including transferring financial benefits to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Sonowal has also thanked the leaders of the all-party meeting for the idea of thanking all frontline personnel including doctors. Along with this, he has also thanked the sanitation workers, ASHA workers and ambulance drivers who are trying to save people from Corona.
