A youth allegedly killed his 70-year-old father in western Assam’s Kokrajhar district. Police arrest the killer son. Police officials said Hasmat Ali died on the spot when he was attacked by his son Rahmat Ali in a fit of rage.The incident took place at their home at Burhisatamgaon village under Gossaigaon police station in Kokrajhar district.
Rahmat allegedly attacked his father on his head with a sharp weapon following an altercation between them. Police said Rahmat tried to kill his mother as well, however, locals somehow managed to save her from the attack.
