New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi(vice-president of Congress) along of the Assam Assembly polls,will start campaigning from Match 29,Tuesday,in which he attain three rallies in Karbi Analong, Cachar,Karimganj districts of Assam.After Rahul, Sonia Gandhi,the president of Congress will address an election rally in poll-bound Assam on Wednesday.

In Assam, polling will be held in two phases, the first phase will be held on April 4 for 65 seats and second on April 11 and the votes will be counted on May 19,Assam has a total of one crore 98 lakh voters

The scrutiny of nomination papers was held on March 19 and March 21 was the last date of withdrawal of nominations.The tenure of the Tarun Gogoi led-government comes to an end in June.
