Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2018 notification has been out by the Office of the Director General, Assam Rifles, Shillong, on the official website – assamrifles.gov.in. Applications are invited for various Group B and Group C posts. Assam Rifles is slated to organize the recruitment rally from 28th January 2019 onwards at a variety of locations in Assam, Nagaland and Meghalaya. A total of 749 vacancies have been notified in the official advertisement for different posts including Rifleman, Havildar, Naib Subedar, Warrant Officer, etc. Male/Female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in pursuing their heartwarming career with Assam Rifles can put forward their online applications on the official website, on or before 14th January 2019.

The application fee must be deposited online in SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favor of HQ DGAR Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10 at SBI Laitkor Branch . The IFSC Code is  – SBIN0013883.

Group B – Applicants require to pay an application of Rs. 200/-

Group C – Applicants require to pay an application of Rs. 100/-

SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Women applicants are let off from paying the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must have passed matriculation/secondary examination. They also must meet the physical measurement standards and other job specific requirements as listed in Appendix A of the official advertisement.

Age-Limit:

For Group B, The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 23 years as on 1st January 2019

For Group C, The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 24 years as on 1st January 2019

Selection Process:

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to be conducted at the following locations:
