A Samannay Book Fair, Bokota was jointly held by the Sangrami Yuba Chatra Parishad Asom, Bokota Regional Committee, and Bokota Gyanudoi Puthi Bharal at Nagalamara Garmur Public Playground Bokota grounds in Sivasagar.
The Samannay Book Fair started on January 17 and lasted for five days. The programme began with the hoisting of the flag, which was followed by a variety of other events. A number of competitions were held. Prizes were awarded to the winners of competitions. On Friday, the book fair came to an end.
