Gollaghat: This monsoon season has created flood like conditions in many states across the country. Several rivers in the north-eastern states including Bihar and Jharkhand are flowing above the danger mark, causing flood water in the villages. Assam also has similar conditions but a legislator has come here as a messiah for the flood victims.

In Assam, BJP MLA Mrinal Seiya from Golaghat has set up a moving kitchen to provide relief to the flood victims. They take the ready-made food vehicle in the kitchen and take it to the flood victims themselves and serve them. Mrinal Sekia is a BJP MLA from Samtai Assembly seat in Assam. Mrinal Sekia says he takes this vehicle for the flood victims and goes to give food for himself. Last year, there was a lot of trouble because of the absence of a train. This time it will not be difficult to provide food to the flood victims. The food will reach the flood victims as soon as possible.

He says that even if someone is ill during the floods, the train will take him for treatment. He said, "I will feed the flood victims every day. He also said that if any organisation wants to come forward to feed or help the poor flood victims here, they can cooperate with me.
