Guwahati: Bhoomi Poojan for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has been completed. After Bhoomi Poojan, it was celebrated across the country. People expressed their happiness by lighting the lamp, then at some places the youngsters also took out a bike rally. Two groups clashed in Assam during a bike rally. This incident is of Dhekiyajuli Town in Sonitpur district of Assam.

14 people were injured in this incident, while many vehicles have also been damaged. After the incident, the district administration has imposed curfew in two police station areas, Thelamara and Dhekiyajuli. Sonitpur Collector Manvendra Singh has announced to impose a curfew. In his order, Collector Singh said that curfew has been imposed in view of the serious situation of law and order. The Collector has said that some groups were trying to carry out violence in the name of protests. In view of this, curfew has been implemented to maintain law and order. It is being told that some youngsters raised objections to the slogans being raised during the bike rally, after which they clashed.

On the spot, the police fired several rounds to control the situation. The congestion dispersed. There is tension in the area about this incident. Additional security forces have been deployed in the area in view of the tension. In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan on August 5 for the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram.
