Urging the people of Bastar to teach a fitting lesson to the Congress leaders PM Modi trained a gun at  the grand old party  in his rally in Chhattisgarh . He said that Congress leaders in one hand try to shield the urban naxals, and in Chhattisgarh speak about freeing the state from naxals.

He further said that Urban Maoists live in AC rooms, move around in big cars and their children study abroad, but they ruin the lives of our poor Adivasi youth here through remote control.

PM Modi fired questions asking, why is Congress supporting these Urban Maoists?

He said that for BJP, the mantra is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and it does not discriminate anyone on the grounds of gender and caste.

PM Modi to woo voters said , “We are sparing no efforts to strengthen the region of Bastar. We are making efforts to enhance quality of life of people here”.

He added that BJP will eliminate poverty and hunger from Bastar asserting this is not a poll rally but a 'vikas rally'.

PM Modi also said, “I am honoured to start BJP's campaign from here. People of Chhattisgarh have never disappointed me”.

He alleged that for 10 years, Congress was at the Centre, but they never paid attention to the needs of Chhattisgarh and blocked all development for the state. He further said  Congress never thought of the region's progress.
