New Delhi: Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in three states of the country by the end of this year. These states are Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Haryana. Leaders in these states are turning from one party to another. The BJP is seen as the first choice of leaders. So far, about 40 top leaders have joined the BJP. In view of the strong BJP position, the opposition leaders are taking a stand on this. Coming to Jharkhand, the highest number of people joining the BJP is the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leaders.

The BJP leaders include Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM's) Laxman Goldsmith, Yogendra Pratap Singh, Neelam Devi, KK Poddar, Munna Mallik, and Prabhat Bhuiyan. Suspended Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MLA Jaiprakash Bhai Patel is also expected to join the BJP soon. Several leaders of other parties have joined the BJP after the BJP-Shiv Sena won a landslide majority in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra.

Out of this, Congress and NCP have the largest number. The BJP and Shiv Sena leaders include Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Shivendraraje Bhosle, Sandeep Naik, Vaibhav Pichad, Madhukar Pitch, Kalidas Kolambakar, Chitra Wagh, Sangram Jagtap, and others. Besides, NCP Mumbai President Sachin Ahir also joined the BJP recently. In Haryana, 10 MLAs of the Indian National Lok Dal have resigned and joined the BJP. The BJP's morale has increased considerably by winning the Lok Sabha elections recently.
