Anuppur: A tragic incident has been reported from the Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. Here in Kotma Tehsil, a woman, who was fed up with her husband, strangulated her one-and-a-half-year-old innocent son to death for doubting her character. The case pertains to Mines Colony under the Bijuri police station area. Police have arrested the mother.
According to the same Additional SP Abhishek Rajan, Sanjeet Pandit works as a contractor in Bijuri and Chhattisgarh. The family consists of a wife Pushpa and two sons. The younger son Avinash is one and a half years old. There was a dispute between the husband and wife over this child. Sanjeet did not consider this child his own. Over the past few days, the fight between the two escalated, so Sanjeet took his wife Pushpa to her pihar and talked about getting the child's DNA tested. Enraged by this, Pushpa strangled her innocent son to death at around 11 pm.
The same ASP Abhishek Rajan said that seeing the son in an unconscious state at night, Sanjeet took him to the hospital, where the child was declared dead. On the news received from the hospital, the police conducted a post-mortem after doing the paperwork, and then in his report, the cause of death was found to be suffocation. There was no one in the house other than these two, so they became doubtful and during interrogation, the mother confessed to the incident. The police have since arrested Pushpa. In the quarrel between husband and wife, not only one-and-a-half-year-old innocent lost his life, but the entire family was also shattered.
