During the COVID-19 pandemic, all eyes were on the AstraZeneca company of America. It was believed that the company would soon prepare the COVID-19 vaccine, but it does not appear to be happening at the moment. AstraZeneca has banned its last stage vaccine trial. The company has issued a statement saying that during the investigation, a person fell ill, after which they have decided to stop the trial.

In the statement, it was said that this is paused temporarily because more information has not been received yet about the disease of the person involved in the trail. After reviewing, the trial will be carried forward. According to media reports, AstraZeneca has banned the COVID-19 vaccine trial for safety reasons. This decision was taken on behalf of the company because, in the last phase of the investigation, its volunteers were having adverse effects.

The vaccine was believed to be an effective weapon to fight COVID-19. The media report quoted the statement of a spokesperson for AstraZeneca as saying that the standard review process required the security data to be reviewed. This study is examining the Corona vaccine being developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford researchers at various sites.
