Chinese smartphone maker Asus has launched its flagship smartphone Asus 6z in India today. The smartphone was launched last month by the name of Asus Zenfone 6. It has been rebranded and launched in India, mainly due to objections from mobile manufacturer Zen Mobile to the name of the smartphone. No features other than the phone name have been changed. Asus 6z's USP smartphone features a special flip camera that also works with the selfie camera with the primary rear camera.

Like most flagship smartphones to be launched this year, the Asus 6z features a 48MP primary camera. It also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform processor. Asus 6z's direct combat is from the OnePlus 7, Honor 20 and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. All three flagship smartphones have been launched in India recently with powerful cameras and processors. The 6GB+64GB variant of the Asus 6z is priced at Rs. 31,999. The 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs. 34,999 while its most powerful 8GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs 39,999. The e-commerce website can buy this luxurious smartphone by June 26.
The Asus 6z features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone works on the Zen UI 6 operating system based on Android 9 Pie. The phone doesn't have a notch feature, which means you get a full view display. The screen of the phone's display is given up to 92 percent of the body ratio. As for the smartphone's processor, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform processor, similar to most flagship smartphones to be launched this year. The phone has Adreno 640 GPU for graphics. The phone has three storage options available in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The internal storage of the phone can be increased up to 2TB through a dedicated microSD card. As for the camera features, the flip camera comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. The same camera also works for selfie cameras. It has a flip mechanism. You can also shoot motion videos with the phone's camera. The smartphone is powered by a battery quick charge 4.0 support with a powerful 5,000mAh capacity.
