New Delhi: Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, Sri Lanka acting Foreign Minister Lakshman Kiriella arrived in New Delhi to attend the funeral of former PM  Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He was an enormously important person who we have great respect for and it's a great loss for India. I wanted to pay my respects to a man of that stature: Dominic Asquith, British High Commissioner to India on the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

We remember him for his contribution to Bangladesh Liberation War&strong support to people of Bangladesh. He had the great liking for Bengali music.I had the privilege of serving in Delhi as career diplomat when he became Foreign Minister: Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan.

Earlier  The mortal remains of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji have been brought to BJP Headquarters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President Amit shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders received the mortal remains of BJP stalwart at party headquarters.
