A lot of people know about Atal Bihari Vajpayee's political journey, but few people are aware of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's personal life.

People who have been close to him, shared a really interesting fact about the Former PM. They informed, that Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his father studied law in DAV College of Kanpur, and that too, together.

THey shared the same classroom and the same hostel. After Atal Bihari Vajpayee expressed his wish to go to Kanpur to study law, his father Krishna Bihari Vajpayee said that he also wanted to study law and accompanied him.

When the father-son duo reached the college to take admission, the Principal of the college, Mr. Kalkaprasad Bhatnagar was very surprised. He later, enrolled both of them in the same section.

Although, for Atal Ji, it was a little embarrassing to be studying with his father, and when his father was in the class, he would not go to the class.

So when Atalji did not come to the class, the teacher would ask his father, "Where is your son?" Similarly when Atalji's father does not come to the class, then Teacher would ask Atalji "Where is your father?"

At times, several college students used to come to the hostel to watch the father-son duo living together.
