India's one of the biggest Electric Vehicle manufacturer Ather Energy is planning a big execution with Ather Grid. Ather Grid is the ATher Energy's public charging Infrastructure. The company has established itself well in Bangalore and Chennai motor market. The company is planning to enter 9 new markets. The 9 new markets comes with setting up 135 public fast-charging stations. The new 135 stations along with existing 37 stations in Bengaluru and 13 in Chennai will make it a total of 150 fast-charging stations spread across the country by December 2020.

Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer of Ather Energy said establishing the proper accessible charging infrastructure is very important before launching the products in any market. To remove the range anxiety from its competitors amongst the customers Ather Energy is planning to invest majorly on public infrastructure. This is notably a biggest challenge faced by any EV manufacturer. All-electric 2-wheelers and electric 4-wheelers can use the public Ather Grid fast-charging network  and the speed is, an Ather 450X at 15 km in 10 minutes.

The company is involved in signing MoUs with VR Mall, PPZ mall management, restaurant and cafe chains like Little Italy, Blue Tokai, Chai Kings, retail outlets like Sangeetha mobiles, and is successful in securing more than 250 locations across the country. Ather 450X is estimated to launch in November 2020. The Ather Grid Points across the country will be installed before the launch.
