Mohun Bagan Football Club (India) Chairman Swapna Mehdna Bose said, "We want to enjoy Mahroon and the green jersey and its 130-year-old tradition, but there comes a time when romance really needs to come together. To start the new era of football, you need a large amount of investment and a corporate house. This is, of course, a big truth." He further said, "So I am thankful to India's well-known industrialist and my Sanjeev Goenka of Kolkata whose RPSG invested in the club. His vision of Indian football is in line with our thinking. Our coming together will definitely give the club new heights. "
