Kishanganj: An attempt was made to burn the national flag on Republic Day in a government school in Kishanganj, Bihar. This nefarious act was done due to the flag hoisting program in the government school. When the tribal female principal of the school tried to stop it, she was also mistreated a lot. The criminal who tries to burn the national flag claims to be close to the MLA of the local AIMIM. The same principal has also accused the accused of abusing. The letter of complaint is also going viral on social media.

The complaint letter, which is going viral, reads, “On the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January, following the Corona guidelines, flag hoisting was being done in the presence of some children and guests. Then Mohammad Abid Hussain, a resident of village Ghanpura, reached the school. Abid abused there. He threatened to burn the national flag. He took off the national flag and started trying to throw it. He hurled casteist abuses at me. I was pushed. I was told how dare you hoist the flag yourself instead of me. If the people present there had not intervened, it would have been a disaster. Abid was also informed about the flag hoisting by the night guard of the school.”

The name of the school is Upgraded Secondary School. It falls in Dhanpura of Kochadhaman block of Kishanganj. The complaint has been sent to the District Education Officer of Kishanganj and the Block Education Officer, Kochadhaman. In the letter, a demand has been made to file a complaint against Abid Hussain.
