How it is spread: Hackers ERMAC 2. 0 spread the malware through legitimate websites. Cybele and ESET are rapidly spreading this malware by copying the website of 'Bolt Foods', a well-known food delivery platform in Poland.   Along with this cybercriminals have also started resorting to fake browsers, browser updates, advertisements and information websites to spread it.

How this malware works: When you have to open fake browser updates or fake websites, this malware is downloaded to your Android device. After which it is activating the accessibility service from you. Once the permit is obtained, the malware automatically starts enabling overlay activity and auto-permeation. ERMAC 2. 0 Trojan sends a list of apps installed on the victim's device to the server based on the application list. Credentials are being stolen by choosing a special app from here. The data has been stolen and sent to the server in encrypted form, which is then used to blow up cryptocurrencies or money from your bank.
