Recently on screens, Irrfan Khan and Parvathy in the movie ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’. Irrfan had all new experience while doing the movies and he is excited to know more about the youth. The duo were present at Cinepolis Andheri to engage with fans and to know their response to the film ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’.

Irrfan shared his views about Hindi Cinemas, “I think Hindi cinema has already felt the shock of Hollywood and regional cinema. At the rate which Hollywood and regional cinema is growing in our country, Hindi cinema is soon going to lose its audience to both. Plus now there are more options available, like Netflix. We will have to make films that will bring back the audience.”

“There are some characteristics that I really love about Yogi, he is vulnerable sensitive and if time comes to it he will also be ready for a fight. And especially the way he treats women as an equal. He would never create an atmosphere that feeds the thoughts of gender inequality.” he told what he liked about his role in the movie.

The film revolves around two protagonists Yogi and Jaya who have opposite personalities and sensibilities, that meet via an online dating app. This encounter turns into much more when the two travel to Rishikesh together. The movie is directed by Tanuja Chandra.
