Aurangabad, on Monday, police arrested 3 persons for betting on the IPL final match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Police said, a joint team of the city Crime Branch and Economic Offenses Wing led by DCP Sandeep Atole raided an apartment in the R B Hills area late last night and arrested the three persons - Naresh Potalwad, Ajit Agle aka Chhotu and Prakash Thole - while they were betting on the match played in Bengaluru.

A case has been registered with the Mukundwadi police station and further inquiry is on, they added.
